Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum needed to run a consultation, we never see your payment details, and we don't track you. Here is exactly what that means.

01Scope

This policy explains how Virajsinh Atodariya, trading as Viransi HQ, handles personal data collected through viransi.in.

It covers visitors to the site and customers who book a paid consultation session. We are the data controller for that information.

02What we collect

We collect only what we need to schedule and deliver your session. There is no account system, and we do not ask for anything beyond the booking form.

Full name
To address you correctly and to identify the booking.
Email address
To confirm the session, send the joining link, and deliver your written summary.
Phone number
As a fallback contact if the session time needs to change at short notice.
Preferred date and time slot
To schedule the session.
Project brief (optional)
So the engineer can prepare. You choose whether to provide this, and how much detail to give.

03Payment information

We do not collect, see or store your card number, UPI ID, bank details, CVV or any payment credential. Payments are processed entirely by Razorpay Software Private Limited on their own infrastructure.

What we receive back from Razorpay is a payment identifier, an order identifier and the payment status. That is all we hold about the transaction.

Razorpay processes your payment data as an independent controller under their own privacy policy, which you should read before paying.

04Why we are allowed to hold it

We process your booking details to perform the contract you enter into when you book a session. We process the optional project brief on the basis of your consent, given by choosing to fill that field in.

We keep transaction records where we are required to for tax and accounting purposes.

05Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it for advertising. We do not build profiles on you.

Your data reaches only the service providers needed to run the booking, each acting on our instructions:

  • Razorpay — to take the payment and issue a receipt.
  • Vercel — the hosting platform that serves this website and processes server logs.
  • Our email provider — to send you the confirmation, joining link and written deliverable.
  • Where the law requires disclosure, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

06Cookies and tracking

This site sets no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no third-party trackers. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or similar tools.

Razorpay's checkout sets its own cookies when it opens, strictly to process the payment and to prevent fraud. Those are governed by Razorpay's privacy policy.

Our host records standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent) for security and reliability. These are retained for a short period and are not used to identify you.

07How long we keep it

Booking details are kept for 24 months after the session, so we can honour the fee credit toward a future project and answer any query about the engagement.

Payment and transaction records are kept for 8 years, as required by Indian tax and accounting law.

An optional project brief is deleted on request at any time, and otherwise with the rest of the booking record.

08How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS only. Payment signatures are verified server-side before any booking is treated as confirmed, using a constant-time comparison so signatures cannot be guessed.

Access to booking records is limited to the individual delivering your session. Secret keys are held in the hosting platform's encrypted environment store and never appear in the site's source code.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affects your data, we will tell you and the relevant authority without undue delay.

09Your rights

You can exercise any of the following by emailing us. We will respond within 30 days and will not charge you for it.

  • Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
  • Ask us to delete your data, where we are not required by law to keep it.
  • Withdraw consent for the optional project brief.
  • Object to how we are processing your data, or ask us to restrict it.
  • Complain to the relevant data protection authority if you are unhappy with our response.

10Children

Our services are not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11Where your data is held

Our hosting and email providers may store or process data on servers outside India. Where that happens, we rely on those providers' contractual data protection commitments to keep your data safe.

12Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and revise the date shown at the top. Material changes affecting existing customers will also be emailed.
